Since this was an attack via email on her, a physical punch in the mouth isn't possible. If it was possible, I don't think a violent response to a verbal attack is ever appropriate. I'm bothered, too, by her attacker's assumption that being overweight is a simple choice or bad habit. Yes, how much you eat and how much you exercise has something to do with it, but it's a LOT more complicated than that. It has a lot to do with metabolism and hormones in many people. You all know the people who eat and eat all sorts of heavy foods and are skinny as a rail. I was always the chubby kid in school and have fought my weight all my life. I'll say it again... It's not that simple.
